If you have a never ending to do list or have been wanting to finish a project you started I’m going to give you tips to get that ish DONE!
I don’t know about you but when I have a lot to do or a big project to finish I easily get paralyzed and I don’t end up taking ANY action.
This process I’m going to share with you is going to help you get focused and get direction to move forward even if you’re overwhelmed.
I have taught this process to my clients who get really overwhelmed with their to do list and they’ve been amazed at how it helps them sift through the fog in their mind and they actually do get MORE done!
In this video I share with you the 5 step process to help you get shit done!

This process includes two main things: ORGANIZATION & DEADLINES.
The 5-Step Process to get shit done:
- List
- Write down EVERYTHING that needs to get done. This helps you clear the fog in your mind. Get it out of your head and onto paper.
- Delete
- Cross off the things you don’t really want to do. There are likely things on your list that you feel like you have to do or should do but don’t actually desire or HAVE to do. Take the stuff that is weighing you down off the list. (I got this tip from one of my teachers and it is GENIUS.)
- Prioritize
- Put the list in order of priority to you. What needs to get done first? Second? And if it’s flexible, make an executive decision for what order you want to pick. The goal here is to make it easier to follow each step.
- Deadline
- Give yourself a deadline and time limit to finish it in. Decide what date you will complete it and how long you’re going to give yourself to do it. However long you give yourself is how long you’ll take to finish it. Frame your mind to think it has to get done during this timeframe like you’d have to turn in a paper that’s due at a certain time.
- Incentivize
- Give yourself a reason to show up and finish. You can do this in many different ways. You can give yourself a gift or take yourself out on a date or vacation. Create a reason that matters to commit to this thing you want to do. This is going to help you show up and do that thing!
When you have an overwhelming to do list looming over your head it can be hard to focus and complete the things you want.
Using these steps is really going to help you DO the things you want to DO in your life with more clarity and ease!
Now go use this process for your to do list this week and tell me how it goes!
